Wedding, honeymoon and our first married Christmas together!

Miles and I got married Dec. 13th at 6pm at First Christian Church in Denton. The wedding was beautiful and it seemed to be over in minuets. Here are some snap shots that I got before the ceremony.

The Flower Girl, Gracie

The Honeymoon!

Saturday night we stayed at the Wildwood inn, it was soo beautiful! And the next day we flew to Savannah. Monday morning we got up and started exploring. But not before taking in the amazing veiw from our hotel room. This picture was taken from the balcony of our room.

You can see from this picture that there is a street right beside our hotel. Going straight down East River street, it takes you to Historic downtown Savannah. This next picture was the first statue that we found, it's called the waving lady and the story about her is that she waved at every boat that came into the harbor waiting for her fiance to return from sea. She waved forty years until she died still waiting for him to return.

Here are just some of our favorite's

Fort Jackson

This is a statue of John Wessley

Here were are on the steps of the Kehoe House

On Wednesday we went to the beach, the water was really cold, but it was so much fun and we picked up shells.

This picture was taken at Fort Pulaski on Tybee Island

This was taken at Fort James Jackson

Our honeymoon was so much fun, everyday we had something fun to do. It was sad when it was over, but we were also glad to get home before christmas and get settled.

Christmas

For Christmas we spent Christmas Eve at Nana and Grandaddy's (Miles' moms side of the family) We had tons of fun and I got some great videos of the guys singing christmas carols. Take note of Richard Morgans arm in the first video.

On Christmas day we went to my Nana's (my moms side) and had lunch. My parents gave Miles a drill, which we used that evening to hang some shelves in the apartment.

This picture is crooked for some reason.... but it is a pic of my brother, I regifted something that I had got in the White Elephant draw the day before, it's called Paula Deans But Massage meat tenderizer.

Christmas

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVqqj1v-ZBU

Okay, I do not know how to post youtube videos on blogger, but this link takes you to one I really like. I got it off of Wendy Provences blog and it totally sums up what I think Christmas has evolved into. Me and Miles were just talking earlier today about how expensive Christmas is. This video kinda sums up what we would like it to really be about.

Summer into Fall

Well, this summer has been great, but I am glad it is over and am really ready for some cooler weather. Me and Miles went to the Botanical Gardens a couple weeks ago. It was fun! I had a lecture to go to for my Botany class and he was sweet enough to drive me there. The flowers were really pretty. This was the best picture I have of us.... Its out of focus, I'll let Miles have credit for that, lol

Fish!

Here are some random pictures that I have taken this year of my family.

This was Christmas actually....

So serious

I didn't actually take this, I just woke up one morning and it was on my camera.... Unfortunately Randy takes all sorts of gross pictures on my camera(without asking). This is one of the nicer ones. Im pretty sure this is what he needs to do for a living.

Weldon and Duke, see how duke has his paw on Weldon (were pretty sure that duke thinks he's a human) It's so cute!

One morning my mom came and asked me to take a picture of her goat. It had hopped on a shed and was standing on it's hind legs to reach the leaves... goats will do anything for leaves!

Wedding Plans

Well... in June I got engaged! I'm taking tons of pictures so I am going to use my blog to make sort of an online photo album for myself. The wedding is December 13th and me and my mom have gotten lots done! I'm really terrible about blogging since I don't really communicate with anyone through blogger but this is a great way to save the memories.

My mom kind of set up an example of what she wanted the tables to look like. The bouquet that I am holding is mine. The smaller is the one I will throw and the white is my bridesmaids. The other arrangements are some ideas for the tables.

Exessories

My slippers

The flower girl basket ... its soo cute!

My headpiece, its kinda hard to tell but its pearls

And last but not least, the guest book. I thought this book was perfect for us with all the black and white photos of little kids. It's adorable!

Four more monthes and we will be married.... it's exciting!!

Spring Break and Easter

This month has been totally crazy. Me and Miles went to the Fort Worth Zoo the saterday spring break week started and we had soo much fun! I took lots of great pictures!

Good Friends...

One night during spring break my best friend, Erin, who I have known since I was like four came over and spent the night and then the next day we went shopping at Kohls, it was alot of fun!

I also got to hang out with Brad and Colleen, we spent four years of highschool together and so it was fun to see them. We went and had a late lunch at Chilis. The best picture was a lil blury unfortunatly.

Easter with my Dad's Family....

My brother is following around my little cousin while she easter egg hunts. Poor Gracie, she is the youngest grandchild out of 11 and the only one that still hunts eggs. But it makes it fun for us because we get to watch her.

Goats....

My mom's goats are all kidding and we have sooo many baby goats. Interesting story.... the other night, I am woken up around 11:30 by my mom tapping on my window... actually banging... she was telling me to go get a dry towel and to come out to the barn. Well... she had a goats that had two babys in the dirt and the mother could not get up to take care of them. So we dried them off. Later, when my mom realized that she was still not done we had to pull one more. It didnt make it... but this poor goat! She had three babys and she is so tiny. We are bottle feeding the two babys and they are so sweet. I will post pictures of them later.

Snow Day

So Texas had a snow day! We didnt go to school and everything! I got some great pictures of our house and the boys. Weldon LOVED the snow. He was hilarious. Building snow men, and attempting to make an igloo.

The boys had to sweep snow off of the barn so that it wouldnt cave on the goats, it was that heavy! It only lasted two days, but it was great. I loved getting a day off from going to work and school. It was perfect timing too, I got to stay home and work on an english paper. It will probably be another year before it looks like this again. Well.... I take that back... You NEVER know about Texas......

Do you ever wish your closet looked like a picture out of an Ikea catalog? The other day I found an article on MSN about organizing tips. They had some great ideas!

This closet is soo clean... the labeled bins at the top is a great idea.

I this next picture look at the jewlry holder beside the mirror. Isnt that a great idea! I actually have a friend who has made something like this from stuff from Hobby Lobby. Im going to have to make one!
